India’s tennis superstar Sania Mirza has said that she will be taking a break from social media platforms due to the upcoming Pakistan vs. India cricket match on October 24 this week. Sania posted a clip of her in which she said that the reason behind her decision of taking a break is “toxicity”.

Due to her marriage with Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik, she is often trolled and hated on social media during Pakistan-India cricket matches. She posted a clip that contains the text “Me disappearing from social media and toxicity on India vs. Pakistan match day.”

Reacting to her video on Instagram, former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh commented “good idea.”

Meanwhile, captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli has called the match to be “just another game.” On the other hand, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has said that our side is confident of beating their neighbors for the first time in a World Cup.

Meanwhile’ the Aam Aadmi Party of India has demanded that the Indian cricket team should not play this match against Pakistan in T20 World Cup. During a press conference, Atishi, AAP MLA from Kalkaji said, “We see people being attacked in Kashmir. I’m sure that even the Prime Minister agrees with the stand of not conducting the match (IND v PAK) as when in Opposition he used to question that when state-sponsored terrorism is taking place in India why should we play cricket with them?”

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla on Monday (October 18) said India will have to play against Pakistan in this T20 World Cup as no team can refuse to play any match against the opponent team. It is the rule of the tournament organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The much-awaited Pakistan vs. India clash of the T20 World Cup will take place on October 24 in Dubai International Stadium.
