As we know that, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo will not be a part of this El Clasico, the biggest football club rivalry, questions are being asked that whether it’s worth watching anymore. Benzema believes that it will always remain the biggest football club game in the world, it’s just not about the two players on the ground. But it’s more about the club themselves.

“For me, it’s still the same. It remains the best match that exists in football,” Benzema told Julien Laurens in an exclusive interview. “It doesn’t matter about the players who are there, who have left, or who will join. Real-Barca is historic. The names change but before there was [Zinedine] Zidane, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, [Samuel] Eto’o. Real-Barca will always be Real-Barca.”

In recent weeks, Karim Benzema has emerged as the most prolific striker. He was the top goalscorer of the league with tremendous 9 goals and 7 assists in only 8 matches being played.

Playing in club aside, Benzema also scored an insane curler from outside of the box to help France secure their first UEFA National League against Spain.

Karim Benzema talks about his dream of winning the Ballon D’Or and how this dream turned into a motivation for him to be a better player and a better version of himself.

"It's been a dream since I was young and also a motivation," Benzema noted.

"The Ballon d'Or represents the best players in the world and it’s an honor to be on the list. If you count who's on there, it's very satisfying. It's always been an objective."

Real Madrid and Barcelona will play El Clasico match at camp Nou, Barcelona on October 24.
