5. His nickname is Lenny

In 2020, Youngs spoke Rugby World that Lenny's nickname had been given to him as a child by his cousins.

"Benny converted Lenny and it fixed," he said. "Everybody requests me that now."

6. He is the second most games scrum-half men's in the world

Only Australia's George Gregan played more international matches with 139.

7. He used to have a coffee shop

Youngs opened a coffee and doughnut bar on Welford Road with former Leicester player Tom Croft, a former roommate and best man at Youngs' wedding. The store is closed during Covid due to the absence of gatherings on the ground.

8. He ready his England entrance on the wing

Youngs' international career got off to an amazing start after Ugo Monye was injured in the Calcutta Cup against Scotland in March 2010 and had to appear on the wing.

Tom Youngs took an unlimited leave of absence from Leicester in October to care for his wife Tiffany, who was unlimited with blood cancer in 2014 and healthier before dwindling ill again.
