Lawes, who has made 90
appearances, has emerged as one of England's foremost leaders in recent years,
captaining regular captain Owen Farrell in the autumn when he was injured.
Though, with Tom Curry
leading in his absence and Farrell's absence, a concussion continued by the
Northampton Saints in mid-January involuntary him out of the first two Six
Nations games.
“Who took over from Owen and
did a fantastic job, the autumn gathering was my first stage working with
Courtney,” added Seibold.
