Andy Farrell announced 37 players for the 2022 Guinness Six Nations squad
Andy Farrell and the Irish coaching staff have appointed a 37-man squad for the 2022 Guinness Six Nations Championship, which starts in early February. The team is led by Johnny Sexton, who won his 100th cap for his country against Japan in the November international window. Six Nations Rugby Fans can buy Six Nations Tickets from our website.
Ireland will take on Wales, Italy and
Scotland at the Aviva Stadium, while also travelling to Paris and London to
meet France and England respectively.

There are two limitless players in the expanded squad - Ulster's Michael Lowry and Connacht’s Mack Hansen. Both have trained with the national team in recent months, with Lowry at the Vodafone Summer Series in July and Hansen at the Autumn Nations Series in November. Cian Prendergast of Connacht will join the
team at the Portugal training camp as a development player. The former Irish
U20 player has made nine appearances for Connaught this season. James Lowe's
muscle injury will keep him out for weeks.
Irish head coach Andy Farrell commented:
"In November we challenged the teams to get up to speed quickly so they
can perform at international level. The same goes for the Six Nations, we need
to be at our best against Wales on the opening weekend.
Ireland's first game of the 2022 Six Nations
Championship is against Wales on Saturday, February 5. A week later, the team
travels to France to face Les Bleus in Paris. Ireland will face Italy in the
third round on Sunday, February 27 at Aviva Stadium, before heading to
Twickenham two weeks later to face England.
