form, both head coach Jones and hooker Jamie George said the visiting team was
favourites to win, but Marler affects.

at it and thought, I know how good Ireland is. I know how good their minds are.
I know how good their pack is. I know how good their attack system is."
'Melted wheelie bin' Furlong
The English front row will
be made particularly difficult by talented Irish supporter Tadhg Furlong.
Furlong is as agile as power
up front and Marler is well conscious of the test ahead.
“He is in an aggressive
position and is capable of that, over to give his team a stage to hit a very
fast ball. But then he stands up, He has the capability to anchor the scrum
with his huge chest and big weight and do that over,” said Marler.
"He played 10 times
[with a pass from the Irish striker] but he looked like he shouldn't have. He
looked like a very outdated front-row player - a garbage can that melts like
me."
