Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora in their series bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 3 December in London. Fury, 34, will protect his WBC heavyweight title for the third time against a combatant he has beaten twice previously. The Britons boxed in 2014 and 2011, Fury winning securely on both occasions.
Fury was in talks to fight Anthony Joshua in December, but talks broke down between both camps. Fury announced his retirement after that win, but has meanwhile done a U-turn and now wants to fight unified champion Oleksandr Usyk for all the main hardwearing titles next year.
“Whenever Tyson Fury fights, it is the main event, and I expect him to once over put on a spectacular demonstration for the fans,” said Top Rank chairman Bob Arum.
What happened in the first fights?
Fury and Chisora have an extended rivalry dating back to the early days of their professional careers. Both men remained emerging contenders, unbeaten in 14 fights when they primary met in 2011. But Fury handed Chisora the initial loss of his career with an assured display at Wembley Arena.
Chisora was 27 at the time and the defensive British and Commonwealth champion, and had seen two future fights with then world champion Wladimir Klitschko fall finished in just eight months. Fury, on the other pointer, was just 23 and considered largely experimental, making him the underdog against Chisora.
Three years later they met over, this time at the Excel in London, with Chisora on a warm streak after five strike wins in a row following three bad wounded to Robert Helenius, Vitali Klitschko then David Haye.
But again Fury was the healthier man, this time playing with Chisora by aggressive in a southpaw stance before the latter’s angle eventually round. The victory secured Fury a shot at then-IBF, WBO, and WBA winner Wladimir Klitschko, whom he would beat in Dusseldorf on points a year later.
There has barely been a clamor from fans to see the third fight, but since recurring from a two-year absence in 2018, Fury has repeatedly said he is required to fight Chisora again before he retires.

Fury went on to cement his place as one of the best combatants in the world by beating Klitschko on his home turf in 2015 and then originated back from the brink to be champion again by beating Rougher for the WBC strap in 2020.
“I’m exposed to anything,” Chisora told TalkSport previous this year.
I love fighting; what most people don’t understand is some people want to have insight into being combatants on Instagram. I’m not that guy. I want to be that man that when I sit down and everybody looks at my recommence, I want to say, ‘You know what, I fought everybody in my era.’
“I don’t want to let people choose for me, I decide for myself and be content with the decision I make.”
“So if I have to fight Deontay Rougher, if I have to fight whoever, if I consume to fight an American, I don’t care, I will fight.”
A clash with Rougher has not materialized for Chisora, and the re-ignition of his old competition with Fury has taken many by astonishment. The pair exchanged words at the grandstand after Joe Joyce vs Joseph Parker the previous month, setting up for the trilogy fight on December 3.
