England's dilapidated World Cup hotel, it's still a construction site in Qatar just 30 days to start

England’s World Cup preparations are in ruins – the team hotel turned into a construction site a month before the match started. The Sun has witnessed migrant builders in overalls toil in 35C heat to build a pool for the Three Lions. The pool bar and changing rooms are still carved from bare Breeze blocks. In front of the hotel entrance, Camels watched as welders and workers began to turn the dusty spot into a parking lot. Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 fans can buy England Vs USA Tickets from our website.

But with the hotel owners of Souq Al Wakra, there is football. The association has booked all 101 rooms and insists the work will be done before Gareth Southgate’s team arrives next month.

Showing off their lavish oceanfront suites, hotel chefs promise an oasis of calm in between games.

General Manager Emad Nabulsi

General Manager Emad Nabulsi said: “There is a construction site now, but I can guarantee that everything will be ready before the team arrives. They will be very happy.”

“The hotel is modelled after the ruins of a traditional fishing village and so far has an ornamental fountain but no swimming pool.”

“But the fountain will be a beautiful pool for players to enjoy. The work is ahead of schedule and it will be completed on time.”

“I can assure you that the players will not see any workers or building materials.”

English bosses have chosen a quiet, low-rise location – a 30-minute drive from the dazzling skyscrapers of Qatar’s capital Doha – to decompress the stars between games.

But concerns were raised about the lack of a pool at the last World Cup in Russia in 2018, after players, including captain Harry Kane, were pictured frolicking with inflatable unicorns.

FIFA urgently asked to install a swimming pool. But a plan needs to be made to ensure it stays in line with the rest of the traditional website.

The building permit has been obtained from the authorities of the small Muslim state before work starts on September 25.

Mr Nabulsi said: “Workers have one month to complete the project, but we have added an extension of five days, which means it will be ready by November 1.”

“It will be rigorously tested and performed to a very high standard.”

The pergola that once adorned the hotel’s old fountain is being cleaned and restored to become part of the new pool.

The pool bar will also be made to match the sand colour of the rest of the complex.

But no alcohol is served as the hotel is alcohol-free. England’s hotel selection stands in stark contrast to rivals, including Group B rivals, the United States, who were given exclusive access to Doha’s opulent high-rise Marsa Malaz Kempinski.

Souq Al Wakra

The Souq Al Wakra rooms cost just around £110 per night and are located in a quiet area next to a traditional market and a public beach overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

But Americans have found their most luxurious retreat on Doha’s man-made island. The Pearl, where gorgeous suites with spa baths and butlers cost £15,000 a night. England’s first rival, Iran, will take up residence at the chic yet alcohol-free Hilton Al Rayyan hotel next to one of the largest shopping centres in central Doha. FIFA World Cup 2022 fans can buy England Football World Cup Tickets from our website.

And their other group of rivals, Wales, will stay at the Delta Hotels City Center in the bustling West Bay area, with its five-star restaurant and bar, spa, fitness centre and pool.

The hosts in England took the sun yesterday to visit their stylish website – stressing. That the construction work will not affect the rest of the immaculate hotel. Once Arab fishing and pearl-hunting village. The complex was converted into a smart boutique hotel in 2018, retaining many of its welcoming features.

Players will live in luxurious lower-level rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV, surrounded by cobbled courtyards.

Boss Southgate is expected to stay in one of the best suites – with a lounge area with beamed ceilings and two huge TVs.

The framed family photos are placed in a separate room and the bed is decorated with towel art decorations.

Common areas will be filled with inspiring images of England’s greatest sporting victories, including the 1966 victory.

There is also a traditional tent area in Qatar, ideal for players to gather around Southgate to discuss tactics.

Zoheb Khan, manager of Souq Al Wakra

Zoheb Khan, manager of Souq Al Wakra, told The Sun: “The city centre hotel could not live up to our welcome or our attention to detail.”

“Our goal is to create a home away from home where players can wake up to the sound of birds and relax between matches.

“Every comfort will be provided and we look forward to welcoming the team. Hopefully, they will stay with us until the final.”

The hotel has hired 60 additional employees to welcome the team.

An English source said: “The hotel has been chosen very carefully and it looks like a perfect fit for the team.”

“It’s about making the players and staff as relaxed and happy as possible between games.

“It paid dividends in Russia in 2018 and made us a real contender – hopefully do the same in Qatar.”

England ace John Stones and his entrepreneurial girlfriend are expecting a World Cup baby.

The 28-year-old Manchester City centre-back is expected to be selected for Qatar’s Three Lions.

If Gareth Southgate’s kids win the trophy, he might lift more than the Jules Rimet trophy.

Stones’ partner, Olivia Naylor, 33, who just threw her children’s clothing line Moosh, will give birth to their first child together in late December. Football World Cup 2022 fans can buy England Vs Iran Tickets from our website.

A source said: “They are on the moon.

“Family means the world to them. They always want their kids to be together, so it’s very special.”

“Nothing is more important than the birth of his child, but winning the World Cup would be a way to celebrate.”

Southgate will soon appoint its 26-man Qatar roster.

Their first match is against Iran in Doha on November 21 – a day after the start of the match.

The final is on December 18.

Olivia is unlikely to travel to Qatar to watch the Stones.

But he should be allowed to fly home to give birth. As Fabian Delph was with his wife during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Stones started dating Olivia a few months after that match.

ENGLAND Wags want to play and buy jewellery in Qatar, while their friends there trying to win the World Cup.

The player’s partner has booked £40,000 a night’s accommodation at the five-star Sharq Village and Spa in The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.

Aim for a maximum of 10 people to share the Royal Villa with ocean views, a chef’s kitchen and 24-hour butler service.

Spa treatments include a £170 stress relief massage (if the Three Lions are fined) and a £400 stress relief facial.

A planned trip to Pearl Island includes visits to luxury jewellery and clothing stores.

A source said: “They want to see what Doha has to offer. They are excited to go and want to make the most of it.”

“They will abide by the rules, but it will be the trip of a lifetime for them.”

During the race, the Wags will stay on a £1 billion cruise ship, while the rest of the family will stay at the five-star Marsa Malaz Kempinski.

Their secret plan emerged in a speech to the Football Association, warning them to keep their best performances in Qatar’s strict rules.

They were told to “dress appropriately” and not show affection in public.

They should not drink alcohol or swear in public, play loud music, sing, shout or behave “inappropriately” while praying.

The FA unveiled the non-negotiable rules last month in a secret presentation ahead of England’s 3-3 draw with Germany at Wembley.

England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to announce his FIFA World Cup squad in the coming days. His team was one of the favourites for the match.

The Three Lions’ first group match is against Iran in Doha on November 21, the second day of the tournament.
