“This is my first time in Europe,” Osborn said. “Just being able to see the stadium and see all the people and the culture is really exciting. I’m going to try and invite some fans to the game, so I can’t wait to come back.”

When they return for Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints on October 4, the atmosphere will be more intense. The stakes will be much higher and the weather will be much cooler than the sunny day they were greeted on.

For Hunter, this is not his first business trip to London. He was last here in 2017 when the Vikings defeated. The Cleveland Browns 33-16 at Twickenham to advance to the NFC Championship Game.

“The scenery here has changed since the last time I played here, but it looks like a beautiful stadium,” said Hunter. “I’ve heard it’s very exciting and I’m really looking forward to playing here again and meeting all the new fans.”

Five years ago, the sky seemed the limit for hunters and Vikings.

In one of the most dramatic moments in playoff history. The Minneapolis Miracle took a Super Bowl win against the New Orleans Saints.

Hunter finished his first season as a starter with seven sacks. Signing a five-year, $72 million extension before turning pro in the next two seasons of the bowling game.

The Minnesota Vikings made it to the playoffs again in 2019 and looked forward to the start. But the past two seasons have each ended in disappointment, culminating in the departure of head coach Mike Zimmer and the beginning of a new era.

Hunter missed most of the 2020 season with a neck injury before a torn pectoral muscle ended his comeback early.

He returns in 2021 with a hopeful and more motivated Super Bowl run than ever. The only game missing from his resume. NFL London Vikings vs Saints fans to buy Minnesota Vikings Vs New Orleans Saints Tickets from our website.

“That’s a big motivation,” he said. “I played in every game from the Hall of Fame game to the Super Bowl.

“I feel good. Things occur in football, injuries transpire, that’s part of the game.”

“I had the right people around me – the right teammates, the right family, the right coaches, and all of that played a part in my return.”

He was encouraged by the arrival of another feared pass rusher. Zadarius Smith, facing him and took on an increasingly important leadership role in the dressing room.

“I’m going to eighth grade, I know what I’m doing, so it’s about educating these young people and being with Zadarius Smith and expecting him to be with me and do what we’re good at.”

“Having that experience and being able to pass it on to young players is important to me.

“In situations where I have to tell them, ‘well, we have to do this, we have to do this, just to shape their character, to shape them as players.”

“It’s the only way you can do it. The young people coming in need our help, they can’t do it alone.

“Sometimes they think they know everything, but you just have to keep them grounded and let them know what you should and shouldn’t do to make the team better.”

Hunter realizes that their next stop in London will likely be an important part of their journey back to the top. The journey across the pond was considered an inconvenience for some teams. But their early journey as a newly formed team, presented a great opportunity to bond and emerge victorious.

“It would be a good environmental change,” he said. “We’re in the US a lot, but you can come to Europe and see a different fan base, different people. It’s good for young people to experience something like that.”

Among the young players, Hunter is looking to coach is Osborn, who shone in a disappointing 2022 season for the Vikings.

He confirmed himself as the third man wide receiver in the fifth round of the 2020 draft. Behind star veteran Adam Thielan and young superstar Justin Jefferson. NFL London Vikings vs Saints fans to buy Vikings Vs Saints Tickets from our website.

“It was so much fun with Adam and Justin and all the guys in that room,” Osborn said. “

“It was fun and a lot to learn, and we feel like we have a very talented team, so we’re excited to be there to showcase it.”

“We love being there. Adam, we can ask him a lot of questions and Justin has had a lot of success, so I’m just trying to build on that and give the team a great performance.”

The first signs of life for new head coach Kevin O’Connell are promising. But the touchstone will be in London on October 4 against the Saints. Hunter’s been around long enough to know he’s getting the season off to a good start, and that’s all that matters.

“So far I think it’s so good,” he said. “Good chemistry, practising in every situation what comes to mind at OTA, everyone gets along well.”

“It’s been a great time so far, we’re just getting ready for August and going there to practice what we need to do this season.”

SB Nation response: Vikings fans expect good things before goodbye

With a new coaching staff and many new faces coming to the Minnesota Vikings this NFL season, it may take a while for it all to come together. Still, according to our SB Nation Reacts survey, purple fans expect the start of the 2022 season to go well.

We asked our readers what they think the Vikings recorded ahead of the week 7 bye week of the season.

The results were overwhelmingly positive as 93% of our respondents thought the team would be at least .500, and 72% said they didn’t think Purple would be worse than 4-2 after the first six games.

The Vikings’ schedule is a bit odd as they will be playing all their home games against their NFC North rivals before week 5. As we know, they opened with the Green Bay Packers, then welcomed them to the city by hosting the Detroit Lions in week 3 and the Chicago Bears returning from London in week 5. They also took part in road trips to Philadelphia and Miami, as well as a cross-pound game against the New Orleans Saints.

I have said publicly that I think this team can be very good this season. I think 4-2 or 5-1 in a bye is perfectly feasible. We’ll have to see if Kevin O’Connell and his company can get everyone together soon enough to make it happen.
