It could mean Lewis is a few weeks away from us and will be available at the end of September or October, or it could mean we'll see him next year. Since they didn't move him to injury reserves, it wouldn't be surprising to see him stay on the 53-man roster after the final cut and then move to IR after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Keep: Charles Cross, Jake Curhan, Abe Lucas and Stone Forsythe

There is not much discussion about the position of the tackle. Cross is the undisputed starter in the left tackle, and Lucas looks likely to win the battle in the right tackle, starting with Forsythe and Curhan. It remains to be seen how rookie tackles perform this season, but it's a position that takes a long time to learn, so it wouldn't be surprising if there were growing pains.
