About the FIFA World Cup Trophy

The original FIFA World Cup trophy was awarded to the winner of the FIFA World Cup while still owned by FIFA. The trophy is made of solid gold, weighs 6.142 kg and depicts two figures holding up the earth. The current design dates back to 1974. As one of the world's most recognized sports symbols and a priceless symbol, it can only be touched and held by a very select group of people, including the status of former FIFA World Cup champions and heads.

Since it is stipulated that the original trophy must be kept by FIFA and cannot be won directly, it will only be awarded to the winning team on a temporary basis during the FIFA World Cup. The champion will then be permanently awarded a specific trophy associated with the relevant edition of the tournament, namely the FIFA World Cup Champions Trophy - gilded instead of solid gold, engraved with the relevant year and the name of the host (or country) and the winning country.

Coca-Cola's FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour is a unique opportunity for people to experience a piece of football history and share their passion for the game. The feeling of seeing the original FIFA World Cup trophy will remain in the memory of fans forever. FIFA World Cup 2022 fans to buy Qatar Football World Cup Tickets from our website.
