The new case for the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France is handmade by skilled craftsmen in the historic Louis Vuitton workshop in Asnières, outside Paris. The two front panels are decorated with the word V representing victory, the exterior is covered in the legendary Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas, and Vuitton painted in blue, white, and red to recall the colors of the game.

The side is painted with the Roman numeral XV or 15, an iconic number in the rugby world and represents the number of players on a rugby team. The exterior features a lozine finish and the same brass corner guards, locks, and buckles used for Louis Vuitton cases since the 1860s.

For the first time in the trophy case series, the watch case is covered with luxurious Louis Vuitton leather and the same Pantone blue as the V-shaped decoration. Inside the lid, you can see the logo of the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France, which adds another custom element to the case.
