Emma Raducanu faces Wimbledon 2022 frightening among Eastbourne decision and Nick Kyrgios' telling reaction to Serena Williams

Emma Raducanu Wimbledon 2022 has yet to confirm whether she will attend Rothesay International in Eastbourne next week. Emma Raducanu, who has played just 33 minutes of tennis this summer, will start at Wimbledon 2022 unless she gets a late wildcard to Eastbourne. The US Open champion withdrew from her first game at the Nottingham Open earlier this month with a side injury after playing just seven games. Wimbledon 2022 fans can buy Wimbledon Tickets from our website.

The British No. 1 is expected to play Rothesay International Eastbourne next week to gain additional match training before her final game before her home Grand Slam.

But the Bromley teen still needs a wildcard as her team is reluctant to put her back into action. Emma Raducanu must register before 4 pm Friday, otherwise, the risk of entering Wimbledon 2022 may be seriously too small.

Like Andy Murray, who is injured before Wimbledon 2022, Emma Raducanu can get into action next week in an exhibition game at Hurlingham in west London. The world No. 11 dropped out of the first round of the Rome Masters in early May with a back injury, winning just one match at the French Open.

World No. 180 Ryan Peniston was close behind after a 6-0 4-6 6-4 win over Francisco Cerundolo on his ATP Tour debut reached the quarterfinals of the tournament. The Essex boys have promised to prepare for tomorrow’s quarter-final against Serbian Filip Krajinovic by watching Love Island.

The 26-year-old Manchester United fan said: “It’s a simple watch. It’s good to relax at night and watch it for a bit. My early favourite was Luca. He has a lot of humour.”

England No. 7 upfront Advance in 7 games, then beat the Argentinian 3 in the last 4 and score his first match point with a great forehand winner.

“It was fantastic. I don’t want to wake up to this quickly,” said Peniston, who defeated top-class Caspar Rudd in the first round.

Katie Boulter will face former world number one Simone Halep in the quarter-finals of the Rothesay Classic Birmingham on Friday in what will be the biggest win of her career.

Williams has allayed concerns she may be retiring after ending a 12-month hiatus from tennis to confirm she will be with the All England Club from later this month.

Twelve months ago, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion cried in the opening round after withdrawing from the first set with a leg injury.

She didn’t apply to use her protected ranking but wrote on Instagram: “SW and SW19. It’s a date. See you there in 2022.”

Kyrgios couldn’t hide his admiration for Williams ahead of Friday night’s Halle Open (AEST) quarter-final against Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta.

Paying tribute to several of his legendary tennis rivals, as well as NBA star LeBron James, the outspoken Australian said the sports world should appreciate a remarkable generation of stars entering the twilight of their careers.

“I mean, it’s great. As long as there are these legends. I think people have always taken athletes for granted,” Kyrgios said at the Halle Open.

Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, LeBron James, Rafael Nadal, and Serena Williams, these athletes are so rare. It’s amazing.

“I think as long as they want to keep playing, we have to keep enjoying and enjoying, because time is running out for all these players.”

“So to see her Serena Williams again compete and play in the biggest tournament in the world is fantastic.”

“I think so too, I add, I think it’s a good example that every player should try to play at Wimbledon and not play lack of ranking points.”

“I think when I was a kid you wanted to win Wimbledon, you wanted to play Wimbledon, and everyone who followed tennis knew what Wimbledon was, and even people who didn’t follow tennis knew what Wimbledon was.”

“So I think it’s a good example. Of course, she’s not worried about her rankings, I understand that, but I think everyone should be at Wimbledon if they can.”

Tennis expert tempers Serena Williams’ expectations

Tennis expert Barbara Schett is excited about Serena’s return to Wimbledon and predicts the 23-time Grand Slam champion will struggle after 12 months. Wimbledon 2022 fans can buy Wimbledon 2022 Tickets from our website.

Williams returns to Eastbourne next week to play doubles with Ons Jabeur for Wimbledon.

However, former world number seven and Eurosport pundit Schett suggested fans should temper their expectations of Serena’s return.

“She hasn’t played in a year and now she has decided to take that wild card,” said the Austrian.

“It’s very exciting and I think it’s very exciting for all of us in women’s tennis to see her play.”

“And I think it’s an exciting time for her. The question is, how much has she practised?

“I think if you miss a whole year, it becomes very difficult because you haven’t played any matches yet. Even if you practice a lot. It’s not the same.”

“I think with the style of her game she serves a lot. If she’s practising it will help her a lot. But the question is, how will she play on grass courts?

“We all know this is the hardest area and the hardest surface to move around. And I think we’ll get a better idea when she’s in her first game.”

“But I’m sure she will rust. Besides, she’s 40, which is quite old for a tennis player, which is a shame.”

Still, Schett said the addition of Serena would be a bad prospect for the rest of the WTA.

As a wildcard, she will probably get a top-20 opponent in the opening round at Wimbledon.

“One thing is for sure, nobody wants to play Serena Williams,” she said.

“So the other 127 players will be afraid to sign Serena Williams.”

Rafael Nadal sets a timetable for Wimbledon 2022 decision after training with young Spanish star

Rafael Nadal has not yet announced whether he will play at the Wimbledon Championships this year. When Rafael Nadal will reportedly decide whether to play at Wimbledon this year between Friday and Sunday. Nadal is sceptical of SW19 after suggesting he could skip matches to relieve the pressure of a chronic foot problem. The 35-year-old has struggled with the problem for most of his career, but it has exploded in recent years.

After winning the French Open last month, Nadal said: “Wimbledon is the top priority, it’s always been the top priority. If I could play with anti-inflammatory drugs, yes. I don’t want to risk myself over narcotics anymore play in that position.

“It can happen once, but no, it’s not a life philosophy I want to follow. Let’s see. I’m always a positive person and always expect things to go in the right direction. Let’s have faith, let’s stay positive and lets we’ll see what happens.”

According to the Spanish publication Deportes Cuatro, Nadal is preparing with the 16-year-old Landaluce in Mallorca and will decide next weekend whether he will play at Wimbledon. For most of the French Open, the tennis icon has overcome pain barriers.

The two-time Wimbledon champion withdrew from the tournament last year, as he needed some time to recover and focus on other competitions. Novak Djokovic eventually won the match.

But Nadal has had a great year so far, extending his record as the most honoured Grand Slam player in history by winning the French Open. The perennial French Open champion defeated Caspar Rudd in the final earlier this month.

This comes after Nadal won the Australian Open in January. Two more than competitors Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, he has now won 22 Grand Slam titles.

Earlier this week, Nadal’s father Toni suggested that his son plays at Wimbledon, even if he had a slim chance of solving his chronic foot problems. Nadal complained that he had to get regular injections in order to play.

“When we spoke yesterday, he said it was much better,” Toni Nadal told reporters. “He wants to train. If his chances are small, he’s at Wimbledon.”
