From January 1, 2022, the new World Rugby Union law will bring international rugby into a new era. If players have traditional connections with different countries and go through a minimum three-year suspension period, they can switch countries.

These laws are expected to bring good news to the Pacific countries of Samoa and Tonga, which can get the services of some of the most-watched gaming stars such as Charles Piutau and Lima Sopoaga.

There are already many players who have qualified under the new rules and who have not represented the original national team during the stipulated suspension period. There may be new debuts in 2022.

Which country/region are you most looking forward to playing under the new World Rugby League qualifying law?

BS: Malakai Fekitoa, although he completed the transition to Tonga through the seven-to-one loophole.

At 29 years old, he still has a lot to contribute in international competitions, with the hope that the mighty Tonga team can compete in the Rugby World Cup in 2023.

He’s the type of striker the All Blacks don’t have and can still use. If Tonga catches many other former internationals, Fekitoa could shine in the star-studded defence.

AM: That will get you excited to play for the Pacific Islands, there are many different players.

Tonga, for example, can send a line of defence made up of Charles Piutau, George Moala and Augustine Pulu, Israel Folau, Malakai Fekitoa, but what helps me move forward is that Samoa can be in the next world-class. Their trio for the World Cup.

While Christian Lealiifano and Josh Ioane are eligible to participate in 2022. Lima Sopoaga is already eligible to join Manu Samoa having last played for All Blacks in 2017. Provided they do not play before September/ September for Wallabies of All Blacks. October Effectiveness.

If they don’t, the depth, experience, level and organizational skills of the three players Manu Samoa will greatly improve.

TV: Israel Folau. Controversy aside, he is an incredible athlete, and he can really make a big difference to Tonga – and compared to some of the other players who have signed big contracts, he has the ability to make changes. It could be bigger.

FM: The Pacific Islands will benefit from them, these new eligibility laws are very exciting for the future of the sport.

But among all the stars that can change loyalty, I’m really excited about Ngani Laumape’s potential to play for Tonga. He has played for the Hurricanes and All Blacks in recent years, and he hasn’t quite crossed his peak.

When this happens, it’s fun to watch, especially considering the players he can fight side by side. Rugby Fans can buy Rugby World Cup 2023 Tickets from our website.

MR: This is a tie between the first two five-eighths of Samoans. If both Lima Sopoanga and Christian Leiliifano decide to take part in the Rugby World Cup 2023 in Samoa. It could be the start of one of the great rugby stories.

Successful teams are built around the age of 10, they can dominate the game. Samoa’s incredible game reserve, one or both of these two talents will be the key to lighting the flames.

NT: Israel Folau defeated Tonga. I don’t want to rekindle the question of his departure from the Australian game, hope he will be able to showcase his talent on the world stage again, but I still believe he is a great genius.

JO: The impact of the new qualifications will be very much worth highlighting and may not be as useful to those “second class” countries as expected. Many people have already launched their dream XV for Tonga and Samoa. But we’ll have to wait and see if these players actually raise their hands. Former Wallabies Jack Dempsey is now the centre of attention in Scotland.

JK: Rugby is a team sport, but I would like to know how much Charles Piutau influenced Tonga.

He was a talented player during the Aotearoa trade. His time abroad has exceeded expectations, but now it’s time to see if he can become a million-dollar man at a ball closer to home.
