The FIVB Continues to Support the French National Beach Volleyball Teams Before Paris 2024

The contract for support in 2023 was signed at the FIVB Headquarters in Lausanne. With the goal of using Paris 2024 to advance the development of the sport in France, the agreement was signed at the FIVB Headquarters during a meeting between the FIVB and FFvolley. In an agreement for coach support in 2023 through the Volleyball Empowerment targeted support programme, FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Grace F° and President of the French Volleyball Federation (FFvolley), Eric Tanguy, reaffirmed the FIVB's commitment to the growth of the French beach volleyball national teams in advance of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

A multi-stakeholder approach is used in the project, which follows four years of coach support from 2019 to 2022, in order to maximise funding. The project has a 1.3 million USD annual budget, of which 17% comes from the FIVB. Together with the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the National Federation, and the Government, the remaining funds are provided.

"I am pleased to continue supporting the growth of beach volleyball in France through targeted national team support by providing the relevant human and technical resources to improve their national teams prior to the country hosting the Olympic Games in 2024," said FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Grace F° after the meeting.

The multi-stakeholder support strategy we have created with other stakeholders in the Olympic Movement and other sporting organisations in France, as well as local government, offers the best results and leaves a lasting legacy for the sport in the country. The development of the French national beach volleyball teams demonstrates how well this idea functions.

This long-term project's main goal is for the national teams to win gold in Paris 2024 and, in the end, leave a lasting impression on the development of beach volleyball in France by using the Olympic Games as a recruiting tool for new players.

Eric Tanguy, president of FFvolley, said:

We've been working together with the FIVB and other sports stakeholders for a while, and I believe the programme has improved and better organised the staff in our beach volleyball division. We have already seen outstanding play on the court during the Beach Pro Tour Challenge competition at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2022. Our long-term and consistent success for our beach volleyball national teams is what we are aiming for with the current programme, even though our immediate goal is to improve our performance in the run-up to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Our ultimate goal is to raise the overall performance of the French beach volleyball teams in anticipation of the Olympic Games in Brisbane in 2032 and LA28.

Former LSU beach volleyball players could qualify for the 2024 Olympics. BATON ROUGE, LA. BRPROUD Two former Louisiana State University (LSU) beach volleyball players are preparing for the 2023 Olympic Qualifiers. The lieutenant governor of Louisiana has sent them his best wishes.

I want to wish Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss luck as they prepare for the 2023 Olympic Qualifiers and perhaps the 2024 Paris Olympics. They are currently ranked first in the US and third globally for US opposition on the AVP Tour.

Who are Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss?

Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss debuted as TKN Tandem Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2020. First names Taryn and Kristen are combined to form "TKN." Kloth and Nuss both participated in beach volleyball for LSU from 2016 through 2021. Olympic ticket buyers can do so on our website.

While ranked #13 at LSU, Nuss finished her super senior beach volleyball career with 136 victories. The #12 ranked South Dakotan Kloth was unbeaten on Court 1 with Nuss. TKN Tandem is the winner.

Nuss and Kloth are presently ranked No. 1 after taking home the Association of Volleyball Professionals 2022 Championship in Phoenix back in September. TKN Beach Volleyball qualified for the Phoenix championship by winning the AVP title match in Chicago. Kloth and Nuss are the "Louisiana Girls."

On a random Tuesday, Nungesser called Nuss, and she just so happened to answer. "I got a call on this particular Tuesday from an unidentified number. Thankfully, I replied "Commented Nuss.

On the other end, Nungesser responded. He gave Nuss assurance that he was ready to help them and that he believed in them. According to Nuss, the Louisiana Office of Tourism has been and remains one of our biggest supporters.

Kloth and Nuss wore caps that said "Feed Your Soul" at the AVP championship. They also keep a blog where they document all of their adventures. According to Kloth, they had taken a tonne of pictures from an event while travelling between practising and competing.

What would be the three sentences that would best describe this journey? Kloth enquired. The subject then turned to create a thorough vlog so that everyone could follow along. Kloth claims that Kristen had a thought about vlogs. According to Kloth, people can now follow along via blogs and vlogs. For us, our families, and anyone else who wants to follow along, it has therefore been a journey.

How will they meet the requirements to compete in the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024?

In 2024, 12 volleyball teams will compete at the Olympics in Paris. All international volleyball tournaments are governed by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Nuss and Kloth are ranked No. 17 as of November 19.

Because they are the hosts, the French men's and women's volleyball teams automatically receive one quota. The remaining 11 teams will compete in the three Olympic Qualification Tournaments in September and October of the following year. Each gender's top two teams will be guaranteed a spot in the 2024 Olympics.

The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris begin on July 26 and run through August 11.

I believe that having this support from Louisiana as a whole and just the state of Louisiana is extremely fortunate for us once again. We can definitely feel the love and support, even in Cape Town, Africa, where we currently call home. We simply are aware that a large number of people back home are monitoring us, having great faith in us and supporting us. Many beach volleyball players are able to make that statement.

When we founded the TKN, LLC and just sort of started our professional careers, we wanted to spread the love of beach volleyball, so even if that only results in finding new people who fall in love with the sport and perhaps start playing or perhaps start supporting and watching, that is huge for us.

Kloth and Nuss are departing for Australia for their upcoming competition before beginning their journey to get ready for the Olympics in January. On December 10, TKN will host a beach volleyball workshop at Coconut Beach. Here are more specifics.
